For the past two and a half weeks, I've been sleepy. Not as though I'm not sleeping well or that work/guard is wearing me out. I've literally been falling asleep pretty much every time I sit still. Driving has become more difficult, especially at night, and sitting through...well, anything: meetings, theatre, even church...is a huge struggle. Blood tests showed a slightly lower than normal vitamin d level, so I'm taking supplements and am also trying out a prescribed narcolepsy med that's supposed to help me "rediscover wakefulness". I'm very hopeful that all of this will be resolved very soon and I'll be back to my normal self (going to bed at midnight instead of like eight after 5 naps during the day)! It's just a matter of time...but this waiting is starting to get ridiculous. I'm tired of being tired!
On a happier note, mom and Katie came into town this weekend! We went to see Mamma Mia (our Christmas present to them) and enjoyed a relaxing and hilarious time. I love the times when we can get together!
My wonderful hubby's birthday is tomorrow. He'll be 27! I got a present for him, but his real gift is going to be watching the Daytona 500 uninterrupted on the big screen with the boys. That's right...the longest sports season begins today. I know he is excited, so I'll watch (or nap) with him and cheer on #39 to victory!
Okay...it's that time again...goodnight!
