Birthweek was filled with amazing times, thoughtful cards, wonderful gifts, an awesome date, precious calls (full of amazing singing) and tons of facebook blessings. But, I have to tell you about the big Friday night surprise! You see, my sister and I have always been super close. All of my life I have looked up to her as my inspiration. I continue to learn from her and trust her with everything. Being apart from her, as with the rest of my family and friends that I grew up with, is ridiculously difficult. I miss her!! She's close enough to visit, but life happens and gas costs and schedules differ, so I don't see her as much as I'd like. Well, from all that I've said, you can gather that the Friday night surprise was Katie! Sam and Brandy had set it all up: they took me to what I thought was simply a surprise dinner to Mellow Mushroom (caeser salad pizza is sooo good). Then, all of the sudden they gave me a note that said someone else was coming, but who??! Then, I hear "Is this seat taken?" and recognize the voice of my precious sister. I was SOOO excited! The tears just started falling (as you can tell from the reddish tint I have in the picture). I had not seen her since they found out they are pregnant, so it was so great to be able to talk to her in person about how she's doing and...just everything! I have to say, girls, this was a total and wonderful surprise! I love you all!
