I have lived many places: near cities, amidst mountains, near beaches, in the country...many places. But I have never experienced a place such as where Katie lives. As Peter is in seminary, they live on the campus of The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. It's difficult to describe all of the beauty. The entire campus seems like it's designed for prayer and meditation.
We had a fantastic time hiking, meeting some of K & P's new friends, and enjoying spending time with my amazing sister and her fantastic hubby. And, as always, Peter's chinese spaghetti was delicious! Amidst all of the fun, I couldn't help but realize that everywhere we turned was another breathtaking view, another beautiful building, another prayer spot! I cannot wait to go back and visit again...and again...and again! And look forward to seeing some of the same places on fire this fall and under a blanket of snow this winter. Because God's creations look so beautiful in each season!
