A friend in need

A very dear friend of mine, Angie Morris, has been diagnosed (for the second time) with Pseudotumor Cerebri. She needs to see a doctor to discuss surgery, as the meds that she has been taking are not working. She currently has symptoms of intense headaches and blurred/double vision. The increased intracranial pressure associated with pseudotumor cerebri causes swelling of the optic nerve and can result in vision loss. Her husband is currently seeking employment, but has not been able to find anything. They are both unemployed and without insurance. Lately, it has been difficult to meet their basic needs, much less pay medical bills. I know that it is a difficult time to request this (as you know, Brad has also been out of work and we also are paying on medical bills so we certainly understand the situation that many people are in), but this family desperately needs help. Most of all, they need prayers: they need us all to lift them up and believe that she will be healed. We know that God can and will provide for all of their needs. They also have an immediate need of $1,000 for medical bills and I'm certain will need more for surgery and probably more still for the bills that she has incurred while trying to find the diagnosis for her condition. It is difficult for them to ask for the money, but at this point they must rely on the generosity of others to take care of them. If you would like to donate, you can make checks payable to Angie Pitts Morris and send them to me or to her wonderful friend who has decided to spearhead the effort: Sharon Huey 824 S. Hill Street Ste 306, Griffin, GA 30224. Thank you, in advance, for providing whatever you are able...even a few dollars, if we all give, will make a huge impact.
